What a red light class is like
These classes combine two things in one room: mat Pilates in infrared heat at 100°F to 110°F, and red and near-infrared light from therapeutic panels. The work is bodyweight Pilates, with mat work, breathwork and isometric holds, for 50 minutes.
This is a Pilates class, not a medical treatment. If you are pregnant, have a health condition or are sensitive to light or heat, check with your doctor first.

MOUV is at 247 Water Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn, a short walk from the York St F train and the High St A/C train. Red light classes are on the regular schedule, and any Hot Mat pack or membership covers them.
